Paper Jam is a dark workplace comedy originally produced for a 48-hour film festival. Written, shot, edited and scored in just 48 hours, the film was made under the following restrictions: it had to work as a mystery, feature a lead character named Charlie, who had to be a cartographer, and include a paper airplane as a prop and the line of dialogue, “There’s a first time for everything.” The film won several awards at the festival for which it was created, including Best Cinematography and Audience Choice Best Film.
